Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

CL group stages now 99% confirmed. Job done, now sign some bloody players!!!

Fenerbache are a very poor outfit. A few changes now Arsene.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

even though fener are ****e, it's no mean feat to go to that stadium with that crowd after the week we've had and give them the roasting we're giving them.
Credit where it's due, this team have some spirit about them.

In all fairness you never see the players drop the head after a bad defeat and with the way the media circus goes on you would expect them to. Wenger is a master at having the players 100% mentally teed up to bounce back. Would like to see Sanogo and Frimpong get a run out now.

Sagna always does well at CB. Not a long term option but capable if ever really stuck......... Like this Saturday

Cant wait to see the smug face on wenger after this. Now he has more licence not to sign anyone.

Where are all those pool and spurs fans now? They can reminisce together about being in CL :D

I can't wait to see us go back with three away goals to the emirates.

    Great result

    Super save from Chesney.

Delighted with this game tonight. We were never as bad as the result looked on Saturday. A few signings will follow now we've CL secured.

The referee has been very good tonight in that so-called cauldron.

Curious as to what happened on the weekend. Were the players just not up for it while Villa were? Hopefully it was a kick up the arse for them and we start performing. A couple of signings to push us on that extra bit are still needed tho.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 9,425 ✭✭✭FearDark

Glad i was proved wrong about the result tonight.

Now pull your finger out Wenger and sign some players.

We'll definitely sign a CB if that's true. He could miss quite a while depending on how bad it is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,216 ✭✭✭Looper007

Good result. It's a Poor team we were facing but we did our job well. Now Wenger splash that cash.

Good win. Fenerbache were really shït.

I said it million of times, many have shot me down thinking Giroud is good enough. He lack's pace, skill and almost everything else. Good squad player but shouldn't be anywhere near our first 11.

Tbh, it's people suggesting we replace him with Soldado Lambert etc that are wrong.

Giroud's fine but if we want to move to the next level, we need a Suarez.

Job done, without much fuss too. Delighted to see Ramsey score. Bring on Fulham now.

Awful luck with Kosc though, you couldn't make it up. How long would that keep him out for if it's true ye reckon? Should pull out all the stops and sign Sakho now.

That's a disaster, although I suppose we might get to see if a Per-Verm pairing works...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,463 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

We actually need two CB's now. Urgently too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭Ed Winchester

Hope to fcuk that's not true about Kos.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

Colin Lewin says Koscielny's cut is "horrible" and "one of the most ridiculous I've ever seen". Oh dear..

if we sign Lambert can he play at CB? or Kevin Doyle?

Could they really assess Koscielney that quickly?
Didn't hear any word about a fractured skull at the end of the game.

Yeah, surely he hasn't been xrayed already.

Sky just saying it's a head injury. Nothing about a fractured skull. Someone is scaremongering.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

I heard his head came off in the tunnel and they had to use tape to put it back on

So no skull fracture then. Thank God.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

There's no way they'd be sticking stitches in a fractured skull. I'd say its grade A bullplop.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,184 ✭✭✭KINGVictor

Arsene is just some man to be frank. Never seen someone who knows how to shut up opposing voices.

I really wonder where Arsenal will be if he really wanted us to be a top club and win trophies.

I see villa caused Chelsea a lot of problems tonight prob should have won!
