Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very important win. Especially the way it came - still pretty obvious that we need at least 3 additions of class players.
Great effort from everybody though. They gave everything they had!

Wenger seemed more interested in buying new shoes rather than players.:D

Fantastic. Absolutely lobed Flamini's reaction at the end of the game too!

In the words of our former manager George Allison,

"1-0 to the Arsenal, that's the way we like it" :D

Said it last season -- Giroud will be an Arsenal legend. Very clever player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Was hoping for a draw in the United match but beating spurs was the important thing. One out of two ain't bad.

I know it's only been three games but I reckon we could be there or thereabouts in May with a couple of additions. We have a great core, it's just too small. We need numbers, ideally better than what we have, but numbers either way.

I'm putting Villa as an off day. We've looked very good ever since. Exclude that game, and its more or less where we left off last season. At least I'm hoping it was an off day anyway.

Also, last week I put three Fulham players in my fantasy team. This week I put three spurs players in. Fcuk winning the thing, I'm going to keep doing that every week!

Great time for him myself. Not so sure he can be our main striker in that we probably need a more predatory Suarez type but 4 in 5 now....not bad for a big useless donkey :D

Flamini is exactly the same player he was when he joined Milan.

    BEAST!

great display from the team. Giroud was brilliant as was the whole team. We only need a few signings and we will be fighting for the title. Get depth and we be a threat.

Yes we need 3/4 very good players and we could mount a serious challenge.
Was not really impressed with Liverpool or United today either.
This could be an excellent season for us with a bit of investment.

Didn't watch the game, I listened to it on five live. I'm happy but a nervous wreck now. Now Arsene please sign some bloody players.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

We are looking around Europe for WC players and you look at what Ramsey is producing this season and I think we might have one in the making. He really has been the **** for the last 10+ games

Szczesny has been pretty good since the opening day where everyone called for a new keeper. Won't lie, I like the guy but I don't see the point of bringing in a new keeper when Fabianski isn't exactly poor either.

Really happy now, hopefully Wenger will manage to top this off tomorrow. 3+ players in would do nicely, can't be having 4 fullbacks on the pitch at the same time again.

Souness the same fella who said before the game that Spurs powerful midfield would bully us off the field...the same souness who ruined Liverpool so badly that they still have not recovered 20 odd years later, the same Souness who failed miserbly at Newcastle,Southampton and Blackburn...Yeah what does he know

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

    boys its ozil apparently :)

Even though everyone is saying the exact same thing, it's nice to have a delighted bunch of Arsenal fans haha.

Giroud was amazing. Flamini was amazing. Ramsey was amazing. Cazorla, Chesney, Per and Kos. Brilliant.

Yeah Chelsea, Liverpool and Utd don't look to great for me. I know it's a bit silly to say that but those teams are their for the taking. Our Midfield looks great , Giroud look like he's about to have a great season, our defence looks strong right now. With a few key signings Arsenal will be a team to fear.

He's clearly lost it after all that post match euphoria :pac:
