Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This would be so amazing, just can't believe it. Waiting for some more reliable sources though

If we get Ozil plus one or two others for the first 11, would people be happy? Obviously we'd all rather it done nice and early but sometimes it just cant be done.

Viviano sounds done so if we got him, Ozil, a backup striker and a top class winger, I'd be happy.

Even one other striker and I reckon were covered for a title challenge.

3 players would be about right imo, preferably 4. When Verm,Arteta, Pod et' al are fit again we would have a very strong looking squad indeed.

Fees for BOTH Ozil and Di Maria were agreed last night. If rumours of Ancelotti stepping in to stop DM going, maybe it'll just be MO.

Not that SkyBet have a f*cking clue but they've gone 2/9 on Arsenal signing Ozil. Utd at 8/1

    Gotta stop torturing myself!

We need a top striker with pace for me rather then a Back up striker.

Giroud has earned the right to be given a crack at it, he could easily become a 25-30 goals a season man

AS journalist @AS_Maroto is saying Real want to sign Suarez before the deadline.

If Real buy Bale and Suarez, while selling us Di Maria and Ozil, that would be perfect.

Time will tell. We could have got better when we signed Wright, when we signed Henry and for a couple of seasons we had RVP. Goals like today show pure class and he is starting to blend well with the team

No he's an awful player. He's done nothing for years. I don't know why you guys are so defensive. I'm a fairly honest poster. I wouldn't want Ozil to park my car let alone play for us.

Do you know who he is? Are you mixing him with Kaka maybe ?

I'd be happier if we were signing a striker. We have a world class playmaker in Cazorla.

I just think we need that different option if things ain't working for Giroud in some matches.

It would be hard to find a striker who can score, hold up the ball, pressurise the keeper and defenders and defend his own goal to the same standard as Giroud in fairness.

I'm only slaggin bud , But been honest Ozil is germany's and Real Madrid's main playmaker last season and is an amazing player

You joking. He's been a very good player for Madrid and would make a great signing for us.

Erm. How many years has he been stale for exactly?

I mean he's only been at Madrid for three.

And he can be top class too. Many games to play this season both Giroud and if we get another top class striker can share the games.

Ah wait, you're a Spurs fan.

Yeah. Ozil is ****e, if only we had Holtby and Chadli.

We need a striker who can beat a few players with pace and score something out of nothing. I'm not knocking Giroud but to settle just for him is a mistake in my eyes. I think for a club at Arsenal we should have top players fighting for positions in our squad.

Ozil scored 10 goals and made 22 assists last season (9 & 15 in the league) and he's only 24. Whats so bad about him?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,428 ✭✭✭.jacksparrow.

    Lads he's obviously trolling.

    Suarez?

    Suarez?

    Walcott

We should withdraw our offer for Ozil and bid 40 million for Chadli.

Or would Spurs be reluctant to sell to us?
