One way or another it kept us all optimistic during the break. The season starts on saturday so lets hope, otherwise there are going to be an awful lot more cynical Arsenal fans.

The article says that he's a doubt for Wed, although Hodgson insists he will be fit. All I did was say pretty much what the headline is - Arsenal's Theo Walcott could miss season opener after suffering ankle injury in England - and linked to the article. Relax.

That's a mighty sweeping generalisation. I love the club, always have, always will and I'll be delighted if the Gustavo deal comes through. However I, like many fans, am frustrated by our bewildering paralysis in this transfer window. This forum isn't only for AKBs, even if they believe it should be.

button and speed i think thats an overreaction. I think 90% of the lads on this forum are proper arsenal supporters, not Arsene supporters, 90% are not happy so far with the window and view it as a shocking window unless we get the players we need.

It's almost a month since I was criticised for being a downer because apparently we were bound to strengthen before the start of the season and I was just being pessimistic. I was right then to be annoyed but the "positivity" posters said there was still time. I'm still right to be annoyed but I don't want to be for much longer on this. While I'm right and given out to for it, and while others get criticised for repeating what they've read then the happy, shiny people who don't like reality can **** right off with their "support the club" bull****. Because that's what it is, complete bull****.

I'm mad as hell that we've got 160m lying in a bank account, its outrageous, but there are still things to look forward to.

I posted a link and literally paraphrased the Mirror headline, said nothing else, and got sh*t for it. The overreaction was from the other side. So it's certainly a thread that is extremely sensitive of any perceived criticism of Arsene/Arsenal.
