    If you choose free delivery, just hope it gets delivered by An Post and not Royal Mail or you'll be waiting about a week for it.

    Considering how long I've been waiting for this game to come out, €20 cheaper isn't worth an extra weeks wait.
    Anytime I've ever ordered with Amazon super saver, it's always the following Monday or so that it arrives.

    Online servers? Gta online doesn't go live till October some time.

    What's another week? The thought of another three weeks of waiting is killing me, don't want to add another to that.

    Supposedly it gives everyone two weeks to get used to the single player mechanics, map etc.
    Still don't see whats the big deal though. If it's only 16 players in a map this big, it'll be a ghost town.

    The €79.99 special edition is exclusive to Gamestop in Ireland and GAME in the UK. Smyths are booked out of the €129.99 version in the Dublin region at least. The €79.99 version is a steel box with a poster and dlc, not sure what the dlc is exactly.

    asked Gamestop in Navan a few weeks ago and they said they were trying to get it opened at midnight,but they had to ask the management at the shopping centre there.
    im going back up tomorrow and will ask again and come back with any more info.

    That collector's edition looks meh.

    Those artbooks blow and the digital content will be available online at some stage.

    The map looks ok but how useful will a blueprint map be?

    I have the Special Edition pre-ordered in Gamestop on Liffey Street. They're doing a GTA V midnight opening too. I work nights near enough to it, but I might just go down on release day early in the morning.
    I pre-ordered GTA San Andreas there, they were open at 8 am on release day. I got up early with a hangover and half drunk and cycled there from East Wall and arrived there at opening time, then realised I forgot to bring my money. Cycled back home and straight back down again.
    Actually, if I'm working the night before, I'm pretty sure I'll head down for the midnight release.

    When I looked it up, it said all stores are opening, now it is all but Galway.

    On the pre-order side, for those that are paying off all the game, you will have a balance of €65 on it. This is purely a case of playing it safe as they do not want to be taking in money on the night. In Ballina, they are opening at 10-ish and at that stage, they will give money back if necessary, and take payments midnight/until they run out of copies and then at midnight, they will begin to give out copies of the game. You MUST present your receipt at the till to receive your game, they will take it and then you receive your game.

    Also thanks for the info about paying off the balance before the midnigh release, they probably should make that clearer...

    My brother took advantage of the Gamestop offer using two of my old games. They took Madden 13 (bought on Aug 31st last year, new one released today!) and Sleeping Dogs (paid £21 on shopto in November). Pretty great deal they have going in there!
