Looking for a HD projector to watch movies. Hoping for it to be as cheap as possible but still good quality.

    Try this forum.

(Tip: I learned from this forum that an Argos White Blackout Blind makes a handy projector screen)

Try get one with native widescreen or you will just be loosing pixels at top and bottom - a painted wall works brilliant even if not pure white. Watch out for the "throw" the mininum distance the projector needs to be from screen to achieve the desired size. 3d is all the rage but you need purchase very expensive glasses- try get one with physical keystone correction rather than done in software if you will be showing at much of an angle.
Mounting on the ceiling is a must for longterm installation so it wont get knocked etc- so check out ebay for 10 or 15m hdmi cables and ceiling mount brackets.

    “Roll it back”
