Groves was fighting back,might have been swinging wild but he was still trying to fight back,no way should have it been stopped.

He took 3 clean punches on the chin just before the fight was stopped and was clearly wobbled. Ref should have probably given it a little more but I am pretty sure Froch was stopping him.

Great fight though.

2. Ref refused to take any points off Froch who was leading with the forearm more than once.

Has to be a fix.

I agree that Froch was definitely on his way to stopping him, but not at that point.

Christ, I don't even like groves, but reading on here I'm feeling sorry for him. It sounds like he was well ahead and a judge had him up by only one???
I guess there will be a rematch, or would froch want that?

While it was a terrible stoppage and a lot of the activity (as regards points not being deducted) was suspicious to say the least, Froch has shown once again that he has a phenomenal chin. At the start of the 7th, I felt that Froch would win by knockout because he absorbed all Groves punches with ease. Bad way to see the fight end, but it was always going to happen. Might have survived to round 10, but Groves was gassed.

Howard foster has no business reffing a title fight, froch punching on the break for seven rounds and no points off. First time froch wobbled him he was in.

Froch sounds like a moron here, got battered and the ref saved him and the sky money machine.
