Does anyone know what's happened Sin É on Upper Ormond Quay?

They painted it up a few weeks ago.

It's now closed all the time. For at least two weeks.

    Holidays? Rent? Bust?

It was quiet enough in there the last few weeks before it closed, maybe that was an issue. They never mentioned that it was closing either. Pity as they had started doing some nice beers.

It's gone, think it was the rent that was the issue this time. Pity because it was one of the best pubs in Dublin.

That is a shame to hear. Hopefully if it was a rent issue they may be able to renegotiate a new reduced rent that is viable going forward and reopen.

There are a few places recently opened up that way, voodoo lounge reopened not long ago, new bar and venue called Bigs and new places in Smithfield also. shame they couldn't have hung on and possibly grew business from these ventures.

Is anything going on with the old fibbers rock bar?

So many good nights there. Unfortunately it has seemed doomed for some time.
