    Hi all,

I have an honours degree in Structural Engineering from CIT. I am considering re-training as a maths/physics teacher. The teaching council have stated I will have to complete M208 along with a Professional Diploma. I am wondering has anyone gone down this route? I know Struct. Eng at DIT is listed on the teaching councils autoquals list so can't see how they recgonise one and not the other. I know engineers had alot of hassle afew years back with the teaching council. Has this been resolved? Any help/advice greatly appreciated. Thanks!
