    What a fantastic in-depth article:
So "Blue Origin" in low-profile development for 13yrs aka Jeff Bezos $25bn of Amazon V's already profit operating SpaceX aka Elon Musk $2.7bn of paypal & Telsa Motors fame. Both looking for the ready built ex-shuttle launch pad "Launch Complex 39A"

Even though SpaceX has close ties with NASA, they are already up and operating. I think Blue Origin will get it to open up the market more, and means more Jobs in Florida. Also as a third American option if an emergency on the ISS.

Jeff Bezos sounds like a real sci-fi fan as Blue Origin headquarters:
No photos were allowed — but as we walked through the building, there was time to marvel at the two-story-high rocket sculpture (with fireplace) in the lobby, a 10-foot-wide inflatable globe spinning in an entryway, and displays featuring scale models of Hollywood spaceships. A Starship Enterprise model (used for the first three "Star Trek" movies) sat in the lobby. The Discovery One spaceship from "2001: A Space Odyssey" hung from the ceiling. A miniature geodesic dome from "Silent Running" sat on a pedestal in a hallway.

    Just a thought:
For some reason all the plot of Caprica comes to mind, prob in a few years they'll start using robots in space to build & maintain stations/craft.
