    It's called trying to keep a roof above your head and put food on the table (quite frequently done by college students).

    Don't be so quick to judge, if you've managed to get through your life without having to do a **** job at some point, then you're either extremely lucky in how your career and finances fell over the years, or you have never worked a day in your life and have had everything handed to you on a silver platter.

    Which is what I was getting at, by implying it wasn't due to lack of competitiveness, it was in how they handled their financial issues.
