How long before you contact someone switching

    We signed up to switch to EI several weeks ago. Our previous provider has issued all bills which have been paid but we've recieved no contact from your company yet.

    Hi Diggles,

    It can take up to 20 working days for a switch to process fully and the information to be sent to the customer. If you send us a private message (to Electric Ireland Reps) confirming that the switch is in your name, and your name/telephone/electricity MPRN (meter point reference number) we can check into the current status of your switch.
