Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ibe looks a real threat when on the ball. Hopefully he gets some game time this season.

For me he looks like he has tons of potential but is still a bit 'raw' (yes I know it's a cliché). Sterling looks to be a level ahead of him at the mo imo, but I hope Ibe is given time in the Carling Cup. Could be a last 10 minute option as well with that pace also.

Lovely goal. Plenty of action in the game anyhow, while obviously with the full competitive edge.

    A bit early for that!

Alberto - nice runs and passes
Aspas - constant movement and intelligent running - a smarter Borini ;)
    Allen - neat & tidy.
Downing - terrible shooting but some good moments mixed in.
Ibe - still a bit raw when it comes to making the correct decision.

Michael Owen is to punditry what Roy Keane is to management.

Both have clearly surveyed the landscape and thought that perceived lesser players have been successful at it, surely i'll be better if I give it a go.

Owen will end up being a figure of fun I reckon if he persists with it.

Yes four into three gives an injury cushion, but they also have their back up players for injuries/rotation. Their back up outside of their four is on a similar level to Henderson and Allen, two who are part of our four main players for the CM slots.

We on the other hand have no such cushion in terms of being able to bring in quality.

Good time for anyone who is a supporter of Spurs I guess.

The back up players arent good enough clearly, and Spurs doing something about it. Like i wish we would.

Owen is really annoying me, wish he'd shut his hole.

    Such an annoying boring voice.

Is he going to be commentating on all the games on BT??

What's with all the football talk...don't you know there's a transfer saga ongoing?

I think Downing's value has risen to £5,000,001 after the first half performance today

All the Liverpool games I'd say.

He is just awful and his monotone voice does him no favours.

Coates looks like he needs a kick in the arse, head is constantly down when the ball is out of play could be a useful player if his attitude was better

Might cancel up so, can't be listening to that, will take all the excitement out of the game for me. What A P***k

Signed to keep the nibbling traitor feeling at home, once himself leaves Coates will be on the next train out of town. To who I don't know....still, we'll always have that goal to remember.

I'm watching with my new Al Jazeera season pass, and it's in Arabic. Better than Owen imo.

We need a poll or something.

It would sound like we're just being unfair to Michael Owen considering the history, but no, he's absolutely brutal.
