For me he looks like he has tons of potential but is still a bit 'raw' (yes I know it's a cliché). Sterling looks to be a level ahead of him at the mo imo, but I hope Ibe is given time in the Carling Cup. Could be a last 10 minute option as well with that pace also.

Alberto - nice runs and passes
Aspas - constant movement and intelligent running - a smarter Borini
Allen - neat & tidy.
Downing - terrible shooting but some good moments mixed in.
Ibe - still a bit raw when it comes to making the correct decision.

Michael Owen is to punditry what Roy Keane is to management.

Both have clearly surveyed the landscape and thought that perceived lesser players have been successful at it, surely i'll be better if I give it a go.

Owen will end up being a figure of fun I reckon if he persists with it.
