FT Thailand 0 - 3 Liverpool (Coutinho, Aspas, Gerrard)

Comfy enough work out in the end bearing in mind the conditions. Coutinhos potential is huge no question, never seems to be rushing, always looking for the pass. It just requires the forwards be alert to that vision and that will just get better the more games they play. In truth Gerrard did not have a very good game but still should have had two goals.

Hard to judge the centre backs against this level of opposition but Agger and Toure appear to be in tune as a unit, I can only think of one real miscommunication moment so far this pre-season. Mignolet commands his area and saves shots, which is nice.

I wouldn't think much of it. It's Preseason and we definitely stepped on the Breakpad once we were 3-0 up.

If we're that Wasteful with Sturridge on the side, then I'd worry.

I've noticed that Ibe likes to get to the touchline and lay it back. Not sure if that will work all the time, but hes a real prospect

Mentioned it on here as they gave figures for a loan deal for Cissokho and about how he was trying for a full time move to us rather than a loan with the option to buy.


Both stations said that the talk was of it being sorted either way during next week, so that if true would mean a medical.

He doesn't tweet much (which is always a good sign) when he does people listen cause he is usually on the money.

As I mentioned a couple of days ago he comes across as someone who either works at Melwood or a relation that does.

Getting a little worried now seeing as we are almost in August and aren't really properly linked with anyone significant. I'm sure - and I hope -there's plenty going on in the background, but it is a bit strange that so little has leaked. We really need at least two new additions to the first team before the season starts, and that's if Suarez stays.

If we take today's starting lineup with Sturridge and Suarez in the front 3 with Coutinho, and have Eriksen instead of Allen, I think that's a strong first team with only 1 additional signing.

Any other signings would be CB cover or Suarez replacement. I have no problem starting the season with Kolo first choice.

Only just realised Arda Turan has only two years left on his contract. I know he has already come out and said he wants to stay at Atletico this season and has no intentions of going anywhere, but I'll be watching his contract situation until next summer now with a fair bit of interest.

Have followed him a bit ever since I found him in a Pro Evo Master League back in the day

Does anyone else know, if we have some more Famous Prodigy in our Academy?

I posted a link to it last week which I cant remember where I got it from.
Basically he is back in training (not full training) and it is hoped/expected he will be fit for the start of the season.
