£6m would be a horrendous price to get for him & it would represent yet another bit of business we have to do in the very short time period. Running to stand still would put it mildly.

Although I've no doubt the accountants among us would be jumping for joy over the menial fee & the savings we'd make on the wage bill.

That fee comes from ONE source, a journo at Goal.com!
It also says plus bonuses, lord knows what the actual fee being asked would be. For his age, experience and historically high level of performance, he's worth probably double that.

There would undoubtably be interest in him from Germany, Russia and elsewhere, so I can't see us accepting an early low-ball bid. Maybe even Schalke would be in for him?

For real? In case I want to describe the person to someone.

i.e. He's black, he's got dark eyes, he's tall etc...

How is the colour of the skin and race not relevant to that? It can be one of the most distinguishing features.

It's not really as descriptive though as Mixed-Race could be any two races, whereas half-caste describes the mix of white and black that is so common in English society in particular.

If we didn't already own Suarez and that was the price being bandied about for him, there is zero chance we would be able to attract him, even if we could afford him.

Any player who is genuinely in that bracket, and it is not a large amount of them, is definitely one that any LFC fan should want in their team.
