An examiner has been appointed to the Waterford based Apparel Supply Solutions Ltd, which runs Azzurri sportswear and Waterford Uniforms. The directors of the company who are suppliers of fire fighting, GAA and other sports gear, were granted the appointment of an Examiner by the High Court in Dublin...

...The directors say they are confident that with the assistance of the Examiner they can now restructure and safeguard the majority of the business and the 26 jobs at the company. Job losses they say will be in small single figures.

Hopefully will get sorted out. Job losses are job losses at the end of the day, but hopefully will be kept to a minimum. I always thought Azzurri could push on and compete with O'Neills in the LoI and GAA markets. Would be a shame to see them go under if that's what ultimately happens.

Such a shame if it's not saved. Although seems to be have coming a long time with all these sales they are having.
Will say the stock does not seem as good as it was bought a few gaa strips for kids and they are falling apart after about 2 months.

Hope it's saved and the 26 jobs are not lost !
