Patch Magic Vs Lawn Seed

Wanted to do a bit of patching in the lawn. I bought Patch magic for around 14 euro but it didn't last too long. Went off and bought 1kg of lawn seed for around 8 euro and prepared the ground the same as the patch magic and sowed it. The results achieved are the same but I have about 3/4 of a box of lawn seed left over.…
