Just saw the news there that ipswich town have signed waterford uniteds jack doherty for an undisclosed fee, I'm sure it was no more than 100, 000 but lets hope it helps with their debts Good news for other players there this means they are being watched. Don't know of all the contractual details but lets hope it works out…

Fair play to Russell Dalton for the trojan work he put into getting the 10K together. The club owe that man a lot

Fair play I believe another young lad Frosty was involved also.

The management committee needs to shed dead wood and look to the future.

why did they leave him go if they didnt have the money to pay him off, silly. Fair play to all involved for keeping show on road. Hopefully lessons learned and move on. Shame though as we are/were constantly being told that club is being managed in right way, financially prudent etc.
