bank wants passport

    Hi all the bank wants a copy of my license or passport for reference reference for what can any one tell me cheers

    Hi letterkenny man,

    The bank only requests this for identification purposes for security on a customers account.

    If you would like a definite answer for the transaction or procedure you were trying to complete, a representative in your branch would be happy to assist.

    I can only presume that it's got to do with complying with money laundering regulations. Probably don't hold a copy of your ID and are required to by law
