    What is the Maximun you can lodge in Shares in one transaction please?

    Each credit union would have its own rules - if you phone your local CU they should be able to tell you over the phone (or might have it on their website if they have one). I know where I am a member there is no limit, but if its over a certain amount they are meant to ask you where the money came from (to stop people lodging proceeds of illegal activities etc)

    NB - not saying you are doing anything illegal, just using it as an example..
