Shrub identity?

I bought this shrub in Dunnes 2 /3 years ago. It produced flowers but not this year. I'm wondering what it is and does it need pruning ? For some reason I had it in my head that it was a Salix kilmarnock but its obviously not !

Its some kind of a cherry standard. Prob. Got pink flowers?
Only prune if you want a particular shape.
