I tried to order something on the Internet and they say it failed to pay by my card.
I have enough amount money in my account.

Is there any way to sort it out why it happens? Now I'm staying abroad.

    Thanks

    Hi,

We do not have account access in this department so we would not be able to check exactly what your issue may have been. Here are some suggestions which may help:

-If you are now abroad and have not used your card in sometime, it could be you have an old card. Bank of Ireland have changed all Laser cards to Visa Debit in 2012. If you have not received your new Visa Debit, please call your branch or Banking 365 on 0818 365 365.

-If you have changed address recently but not updated your account, this can sometimes cause an issue due to addresses not matching. You can find information on how to update your address in our faq's here.

-If it is a Verified by Visa you had the issue with, you would need to call 00 353 1 404 4000 and select option 6 for Visa and option 2 for Verified by Visa. This line is 24/7 so a representative can check what the issue was.

Please call your branch or Banking 365 if none of these options are applicable to you and a representative can take a closer look at your account.

You can call Banking 365 on 00 353 1 404 4000. The hours for Banking 365 are weekdays 8am until midnight, 9am until 6pm weekends and bank holidays

    I hope this helps.
    Thanks
    Linda
