Good beginners board?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy my first board. I found this on ebay and it seems like good value, what do you guys think?

I'm fairly new to surfing, I did a few lessons when I was younger and have rented a board a couple of times over the last few weeks. I got a Bic 9'4 rental and got on fine with it. I was think of going for the 8'6 above as I reckon I'll be able to manage it with a few sessions and maybe a lesson or two!

I'm sure that board will be fine to learn on. As long as you aren't too large(6 1/2ft high or 20 stone!). If you plan on buying from bundoran surf co, give them a ring and see what they recommend. They're nice guys and wouldn't mind steering you in the right direction.

If you don't mind a used board, try to get a used bic surfboard. Those are indestructible and will serve you well to learn on. Try adverts/donedeal or 'surfboards for sale' group on facebook.
