sky broadband??

I have eircom ngb at present and want to change provider for better service and faster speeds,is sky any good and what speeds can i get,mostly using for gaming,streaming downloading files etc. and better suggestions,heard that upc is not great either. thanks

My advice is to call Sky and get them to check your line and they will give you an 'estimate' of what speeds you are likely to get. In my case I moved from Voda to Sky and they gave me better speeds, couldn't be happier with them.

The only grudge I have is that their router (hub) is mostly locked down, but it suits my needs at present.
