Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I should have said that I received two emails - one confirming my order an this one confirming my pre-order.

I did get an email confirming my order and my chosen payment details just after i ordered it but nothing since,
my card hasn't been charged yet and i'm using that as an indication as to when the order will be shipped,
they say that they will ship the day before the release date so i think that it will be shipped on the 27th ?

Yep, and it declined my payment 3 times before I copped that I had the vpn turned on so it looked like I was in New York. At least I know it works!

The cloud is where they belong ;-)

Not when you have a non-LTE version and spend a lot of time outside of Wi-Fi zones. :)

I just tether to my phone in that case, works great. :)

The cloud isn't a lot of use on a long haul flight. Or on a 12 hour train journey at the other side of the world.

Nope but you should have enough on the on board storage for that would you not?

The cloud is no good with no internet, wifi, or just slow connection,
It should have had a 64gb version or a SD slot,
They make them for the cities,

Three don't seem to be a fan of that unfortunately.

So what's the consensus with regards walking into a bricks & mortar store on Thursday and picking one of these up?

We should get a list going for places that should have them.

    PC World 16GB €249 - 32GB €299
Xtra Vision (according to their website will have them) 16GB €249 - 32GB €299
Argos? (carry the current model, no sign yet of the 2013 model).
    Gamestop?
    Carphone Warehouse?
    DID?
    Power City?
    Harvey Norman?
    Maplin?

    Anywhere else I am missing?

If the original release is anything to go by, you won't find one in a bricks&mortar shop for weeks, unless you pre-ordered it for collection.

If anyone ordered from GAME.co.uk like me just remember it's a Bank Holiday in the UK. So hopefully we'll get an email from GAME tomorrow saying it's ready to ship

They do the super saver delivery if the order to Ireland is over £25. I'm almost certain.

As The Captain mentioned before my Staples order was cancelled. Although I never received any communication from them they refunded my money.

So I went and ordered the HUKD deal from Tesco. Just called Tesco there about the order and we can expect delivery for the Nexus on the day of release :-) Yeay!!

I'm sure ParcelMotel will have lots of fun playing with our new Nexus 7's tomorrow :-(
