TRANSFERRING 3RD EDITION JOB TO REGISTERED CONTRACTOR

not involved myself a mate of mine did first-fix of extension a few years back said i'd find out for customer what's the procedure for tranferring job to registered contractor? and what's the story with getting 3rd edition work connected? thanks
