How to display Galaxy S3 / iPad on TV

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the best forum to ask this question or not.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and an iPad.

I have a TV with an attached XBOX 360.

In order to watch Netflix on the TV, I'm paying the XBOX live subscription to connect on top of my Netflix subscription (essentially doubling the price which I'd like to avoid doing).

Hoping to find a way to share my ipad / phone screen onto my TV (LG HD TV) in order to watch Netflix / Youtube and cut out the XBOX live middle man. I don't mind using the XBOX itself as the go-between, but sick of paying their subscription.

anyone have any ideas?

If money wasn't an issue I would get an apple tv, one of the most pleasant ways of watching netflix, doesn't need to be connected to your ipad or phone. Also works well with your ipad with airplay.

Have a look for the Google Chromecast when it is released next month. Only $35 in the US so should be pretty cheap here. Plug into your TV and you should be good to go.

Its less than 20 euro delivered.

Its absolutely fantastic, it mirrors your phone screen to the tv so you can watch netflix,youtube, anything that plays in your phone,whether through an app or browser. You have to plug in a power supply while you're watching. The quality of both sound and picture are excellent and its portable so you can bring it with you from tv to tv!
I highly recommend.
