Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sunderland making Hull look like Barcelona circa 2010-2011.

    Cattermole sent off too.

That's it for him now, as good as he has been recently I don't want to see him in there again.

I think it was a bit harsh to be honest. Poor challenge, but anyone else on the pitch probably gets a yellow for it. Dossena's challenge was disgusting. The whole club from top to bottom is just one big meltdown.

7 - Lee Cattermole was sent off for the seventh time in the PL; only three players (Vieira, Dunne, Ferguson) have seen red more often. Rash.

Cattermole has 8 and Dossena 6 in their career according to Jeff Stelling.

I hate linking to the Daily Mail, but this is a good read by Gary Neville on the declining atmosphere at EPL games. Younger fans are being priced out in favour of the more affluent older generation.

    Prawn Sandwich brigades

South Wales Derby should be feisty - Shelvey starts so that's a card or two right there.

Rubbish game so far and the atmosphere has been very quiet compared to what it was built up as.

William Bony was a funny buy for Swansea. On the bench today but really seems to be a player to work with balls over the top not a quick passing game.

He and Altidore scored almost 70 goals combined last season.

Vorm red carded and Swansea have made all subs.

    Cardiff 1-0 win.

A sending off, the organising someone to take over in goal, clear time wasting.
All in added time, adds on 20 seconds.

    Norwich are woeful

Hughton will be sacked, Zola/Malkay are favourites to replace him

In fairness, West Ham were all over them until Jussi gifted them a penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

What's the story with Diame? Is he coming back from an injury or something? He was being linked with a few big clubs last season but he can't seem to get into the West Ham first eleven at the moment.

I only watched the first half myself, and as you say West Ham had a massive amount of possession for the away team.

He needed a massive second half out of the team and looks like he got it, He is still under huge pressure though.

Awful decision for Chelsea's penalty. Its quickly heading towards a zero contact policy inside the box.

Krul single handedly keeping Newcastle in front here.

He's made a couple of match winning saves already. I dont know can they hold out though.

haha, replay that recent free kick a hundred times and it'd be a goal 99 times. Amazing that it didn't go in.

Spurs have only score 9 in 11 games so far.

Only the bottom 3 have scored less then that, its not good enough really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    Krul got lucky then.

Spurs have had a goal coming for about 20 minutes now

For the team they've got, I was expecting much more from them this season. Still early days of course. You could say the same about a few others so far this season.
