Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the team they've got, I was expecting much more from them this season. Still early days of course. You could say the same about a few others so far this season.

That's true for the majority of the league I reckon, a lot of huffing and puffing but only Arsenal and Liverpool so far have had some consistency, still 27 games left and a lot of points to drop and pick up.

All townsend does is shoot? Newcastles passing is awful, very one sided half so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,797 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

The passing today has been horrific.

I think Newcastle have been pretty poor really. This isn't a defensive masterclass, if they hold on it'll say more about spurs than toon. They can't keep the ball for more than 10 seconds, and keep giving it away in dangerous positions. Debuchy looks a liability and tiote can't pass the ball to save his life.

Mbiwa lucky not to give away a pen there.

Tim Krul making like 20 saves certainly says more for him than the Newcastle defence.

Says a wee bit about Spurs too. Didn`t watch the game is Lamela still warming the bench there.

Is there any need for this poppy minute silence in football anymore?

    Anyway come on Sunderland!

    Bardsley scores.

Larsson with a horrible tackle on Garcia too, should have been sent off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Sunderland 1 up, should have been a free kick out in the build up I reckon.

Niall Quinn struggling to decide which team he should suck off at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

I've just switched to a non Niall Quinn stream, its bliss.

I hope to some day get a job with sky so i can meet their head of recruitment just to break his nose for subjecting us to niall Quinn

Swansea not doing much this season (even if they were robbed today)

Spurs conversion rate 4.4%, only Sunderland and Palace lower.

Spurs have only score 9 in 11 games so far.

Only the bottom 3 have scored less then that, its not good enough really.

According to motd they have had the most shots on target this season, just not putting them away.

Well, he's getting a £1M bonus if he keeps them up, so I assume they can.

Although I don't think they'll have to worry about paying it.

We all might as well just pack it in because football is now a non-contact sport. ****ing joke of a decision, but when referees can do what they like with no consequences it's never going to change.

    Kevin Friend, unsurprisingly.

He was refereeing in League One last weekend and I would say he should be back there, but it wouldn't be fair on those teams as they deserve better.

Giaccherini with the miss of the season. One of those where you know you're going down when that happens.

Have to hold my hands up and admit I was wrong about Roberto Martinez. Thought Everton would struggle under him but he's kept them very competitive.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Aye, me too. He's doing a great job at the minute and I didn't rate him for that job at all. That said, I think it needs to be two seasons or so before we really judge. The amount of managers or players who do well for a year and then regress is staggering.

Sorry to barge in guys, but since this is a thread about the PL I thought my question might be best suited here.

Where can I get the Premiership Years 2009/10 - present online?
I'm not in Ireland/UK so don't have access to Sky Sports. Want to get them as part of a Christmas present.
I've tried contacting Sky but got no answer.

    Thanks.
