Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    And ALWAYS be polite.

Yes but how do you know that they are "bad news" if you've never served them before? If you are basing it on gender, sexual orientation or race then you could be in a world of trouble notwithstanding the right of management to reserve admission.

I live in a bad area, and regularly drink in a pub full of 'skangers.' Never had any issues with them, if you're nice to them, they're generally nice to you. Even had one of them buy me two drinks one night because I had given him a euro when he was short of money for the smoke machine at the end of the night the week previously.

What makes them 'skangers,' anyway? The way they speak/dress? Or do they cause trouble in the pub?

Quiet word in ear of misbehaving person that the man in the corner is Revenue Audit/Social Welfare Inspector/Private investigator as appropriate.

Trouble is that if word get around rest of pub might clear
