Trouble sleeping so got up for a while and Ball State are currently beating Northern Illinois 24-20. Big news if they hold out.

First main pick from me on my usual NCAA picks blog is Vanderbilt to cover 12pts against Kentucky. Later Auburn host Georgia and I can see them covering the 3pt spread.

Seen this stat earlier about the Auburn Georgia game.

Auburn is but a field goal favorite in this longstanding border rivalry billed as the oldest in the Deep South. It has historically been so tight that through 116 meetings the record is 54-54-8 with an average margin of .9 points.

Is there many other rivalries that can compare to just how close this one has been over the years?

:eek:90 yard run by Oklahoma vs Iowa.

    Oklahoma playing some fantastic football.

Auburn edging it 10-0, it's in the 2nd quarter. This is a huge rivalry game and I think that's been somewhat lost in the hype for perhaps the biggest Iron Bowl of all-time.

Auburn need their A-game to beat Georgia - they hammered most of this team two years running, including a 38-0 shut-out at Jordan-Hare in 2011.

Notre Dame are on a bye so I won't be ruining my Saturday night watching them sh1t the bed this week.

Unbelievable catch by a UCF receiver in the end zone helped them win over Temple.

Auburn have one hell of a ground game. Great fun to watch

Texas QB , Case McCoy, throws a pick 6 in the last few seconds of the 1st half!

Auburn going deep on third and short and getting it. Praticing for the Iron Bowl?

TD Marshall, 34-17. Great response by the Tigers after Georgia brought it back to a ten pointer. Auburn are almost home.

Georgia hanging on in there. 10 point game with 9 minutes to go

13 now. Just doesn't look possible for Georgia to out-score the Tigers by two TDs in the remainder.

    6 in it now!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,965 ✭✭✭Syferus

TD Georgia, 37-31 in Auburn's favour.

Auburn won't be doing much throwing for the remainder of the game.

Not that they were doing much to begin with.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

To get two you need to get one first and they just done that!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

    3 and out!!

    Auburn crumbling?

Terrible 3 and out and a shanked punt - momentum is all with Georgia now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

    Just give it to Gurley.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

Give Murray credit he has been superb in the 2nd half. Some collapse by Auburn mind

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

    Murray is short I think

His hand is down before the ball crosses the line - does that count?

And why is there no camera on the other side of the field to see from the other side?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

    Oh that's close!

  • Registered Users Posts: 135 ✭✭JaimeLannister

    Such drama!

    Agreed but hard to overturn

    Hand doesn't matter

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,584 ✭✭✭skeleton_boy

Not enough to overturn. Wow. That's called the other way it stays no score.
