How so? I mean most people don't win, fair enough... and most people would probably take their winnings before getting to 10k, but I know one guy who was able to do it, and I don't think he thinks it was a waste of time!

Ah its a bit of a fad, everyone knows someone who has done it, yet to see a bet slip though ha!

I'm not sure how many time you have to roll it over to get to 10k, but the chances of all those 1.10 shots coming in are not good at all. Harmless I suppose, but I would nt expect any return!

You just need extraordinary good luck... like all gambling really. You also need to have guts, which would probably rule me out :P It's a mindset thing really, because you're betting your winnings, it feels less risky, but not many people would continually put large sums for such little reward in general. But that's how you do it.

It's about 23 bets at an average of 1.3 odds, is what I've been told.

Probably easier with rugby but I was doing it with football. Disaster

49.1 now, also made a lot of money by backing Scotland +24.5 on Betfair the moment I saw people were offering them at 2.2 because they thought that last try had been scored.

Leicester -11.5 1 unit, Ireland to win 1.88 1 unit, also thinking about Sale -4.5 tonight.

Scotland +10 @ evens - pitch is a mess, Scotland's record in murrayfield isn't the worst (apart from the odd 20 point hammering :) ). Just hope they don't give away too many penalties.

    BOD MOTM @ 12/1 - just for fun ;)

    Munster v Cardiff - Zebo anytime 7/5
Might want to prove a point to get a look in for rest of six nations.

I'm not sure what to bet on, I really can't judge how the Ireland match will go... and conditions in Murrayfield will make that really hard to predict too.

I was going to throw something in Scotland to win, but i didn't think the odds were generous enough.

Maybe bet on total points being under in both games?

Edit: just did that, gone on accum for all 3 games to be under total points.

Gone for under in the England-Scotland game... conditions look decent in Dublin, and I don't like betting on under in matches I care about.

Gee it's pretty embarrassing when you back a team -16.5 and they lose by 9 points (what a shocker by Saracens). Nevertheless a last second Louw try gives Bath an 18 point win to take me to 48.94 units.

    I've got Italy +17.

Maybe France will turn it on in the 2nd half, but it doesn't look like they're able.

    Wow that was close.

Under 42.5 in the last game returned me 5/1

Stupid Italy. The +17 cost me 5 units.

Ah well, still on 65 and have 10 on Ireland to win the 6N at 11/2

1/3...could have been worse I suppose!!

Ireland +5 10/11 at the mo, can see it dropping to +3 closer to the game. I'll be taking that tomorrow.

Leinster 13/8 to get the BP tonight, even with the weather I think that's a great bet. With the weather I think a lot of normally kickable penalties will be declined and the focus will be some 10 man rugby tries! Ulster the same!

    Old Balance: 26.99 units

    - 4 units (13/8) Leinster to get Try BP
    - 1 unit (4/6) Connacht to win
    - 1 unit (10/11) Castres +11
    - .25 units (7/1) Rory Kockott try in 80 minutes
    - .75 units (10/11) Montpellier -11
    - .5 units (10/11) Cardiff Blues to win
    - 1.5 units (5/4) Munster vs Zebre - over 5.5 tries
    - .5 units (8/13) Munster vs Zebre - over 4.5 tries

    Open Bets:

    - 2 units (7/4) Ireland to win (vs England)
    - 2 units (10/11) Ireland +5 (vs England)
    - 2 units (5/1) France to win Six Nations Championship
    - 2 units (3/1) France to win Six Nations Championship
    - .5 unit (40/1) Brice Dulin Top Six Nations tryscorer
    - .5 units (10/1) Brice Dulin Top Six Nations tryscorer place (4 places)

    New Balance: 13.49 units

Will see how I get on tonight before making any more bets tomorrow.

I like that Leinster shout, think I will avail of some of that.

Up to 49.76. 1 unit on Grenoble 1.9. Would be backing Ulster and Sale on the handicaps tonight if the weather wasn't so horrible.
