Marmion @ 13/2 anytime today. He should have had two last weekend and scored in previous 3 games.

Muldoon @ 4/1 anytime is hilarious considering he hadn't scored for two years before the last two weeks. 4 in 2 now

53.49, devastating week. Dragons joining the last minute try club to deny Zebre the win. If only I'd taken the +1 on Zebre.

1 unit on 2 asian handicaps:
    Worcester +5 1.96
    Bordeaux -10 1.96

Little bit of redemption. 55.41 units. Good shout on Marmion. Should've put that on, he always seems to get on the scoresheet.

Munster are 6/1 to win the regular season Rabo league. Good value no?

Leinster have two very difficult away games to come.

I'd only go for it if you think Munster will beat Glasgow the week after the Toulouse game. Munster will have to rest a few guys for this and so could get caught out.

1 unit on each of Brumbies -5 and Lions +5 1.91. Loving the odds on Saracens and Oyonnax too but they should be even better just before kick off.

EDIT: 1 unit Glasgow -10 1.91. Treviso are starting a weak bunch of forwards and Glasgow are getting better recently. Harlequins -4 1.97 (asian).

    9.68 Units on Edinburgh/Highlanders/Brumbies treble (5.17/1)
and 2.69 units on Sale to win (6/5)

    Balance 30 Units

Still 54.17 units running on other open bets

Heart in the mouth time there with the Dragons game there. Edinburgh down to 14 men and only putting 7 in the scrum on the 5m, 2 pens against them and Drags looking for a pen try but Edin turn it on the 3rd scrum game over to win 23-19:D

Don't think so. Munster and Leinster both have to play Ulster and Edinburgh. Leinster have Treviso and Ospreys while Munster have Connacht and Glasgow.

Munster are currently 5 behind (ahead on pd) so think the least they'd have to do is win 1 game with a TBP and hope Leinster lose a game by 8 or more and not win with a TBP in any of their matches.

But who knows? Leinster only beat Treviso by a point (Treviso were at home though). Lost to Ednburgh away. Could be close but still see Leinster topping it.

Yeah close enough there for a bit, but stade were their worst enemies. Quins didn't even play that well :)

To add to this (great Friday), the promised Saracens (2.72) and Oyonnax (1.75) bets (both to win) with 1 unit on each.

My post was actually me having a complete brainfart and thinking that the winning margin was 13, not 23.

Back to primary school maths with me...

    My bet this weekend.

    Tolouse +4 11/10
    Toulon -1 7/5
    Ulster -3 evens

10 quid on the treble. I'm a Leinster fan but can't see us winning. We beat Clermont away by pure miracle 2 years ago and just don't see it happening again. Munster I think are overrated and Ulster underrated. Would love to beat Munster in a semi again but just don't see it happening.

Anybody know if the semi would be played in Croker if both Leinster and Munster won?

Zebo to score a try in 80mins, 3/1 with PP, surely worth a punt?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,549 ✭✭✭✭Judgement Day

A little bit of 'before' timing for a change. :D

Yeah that seems mental seeing as they are -4 @ evens in most places.

Wow a cracking weekend but seriously lucky on the Saracens. 15 on 15 it would have been no contest. 59.67 units.

I was wrong with Munster and Ulster. Hopefully Leinster can do it tomorrow but I have a bad feeling we're going to let the nation down tomorrow. Mun v Leinster semi part 3 would be epic.

3 from 3 - happy days - and I also had a win on Mike Brown to score a try in SF vs Quins game on Friday.

Things are too close to call today and so I'm going to go with safer (?) options:

More than 18.5 points in the first half 5/6
Toulon more than 10.5 points in the 1st half 5/6
Leinster more than 8.5 points in the 1st half 5/6

Made a decision before yesterday to place 5 units on an Irish winner of the
Heineken, in the misguided hope Ulster would be hosting CA and an all Irish semi in the Aviva, so now only getting 6/4 on Munster to win the Heineken :(

More bets placed months ago with the heart rather than than the head, still running

Munster 10 Units E/W to win HEC 9/1
SF 6.17 Units E/W to win T14 Grande Final 6/1
Munster 5 Units E/W to win Rabo Grand Final 11/4
Munster 10 Units to win Rabo Regular season 6/4
Bath 5 Units E/W to win AP
Treble Bath/SF/Munster 0.5 Units to win AP/T14/Rabo Grand Finals 182/1

At least showing a profit so far and in the unlikely event any of my others coming in will be €'s in
