Crusaders take on England tomorrow (08.35 Sky Sports 1) in what should be an easy fixture for the tourists who are fielding a strong side against a seriously weakened home team. The England handicap (-8) was tempting but instead I've gone with Crusaders -8.5 points in the 1st half and England -12.5 points. Fingers crossed that the wheels will fall off the chariot again. :D

England going very well at the minute. Will cover that -12.5 with ease

Sadly Crusaders were a complete shambles and one bet came in and one didn't. 38-7 to England at Fulltime.

Any one have tips for the nation cup tomorrow?

Had just under 7/1 for Brazil, Belgium and a draw last night. Poxy Brazil. I'd have scored that header myself in the last minute.

Thinking adjusted handicaps for this weekend. England +14, France +16, SA -14.

    4.22

    New Balance: 37.14 units

Adam Ashe is making his Scotland debut at number eight despite never starting for Glasgow, so I'm going for a dream debut!

    - 3 units (10/11) Scotland +27
    - .5 units (9/1) Adam Ashe try in 80 minutes
    - .25 units (66/1) Adam Ashe first tryscorer
    - .25 units (66/1) Adam Ashe last tryscorer

    New Balance: 33.14 units

Well no one can say you weren't optimistic!

I took the opposite approach thinking the Scots would be travel weary and have one eye on the beach. Only made me break even though after using the same logic the previous week in the SA vs Wales game!

2 long term bets here but I think they're great value.

Australia to win their pool at word cup 1 unit 2.75, Ireland to win their pool 1 unit 2.1.

Met Dannie Poolman in town there few days ago - saying he rearing to go for new season and he looks like an absolute TANK. He is 6/1 to be Connacht's top try scorer which is cracking value imo

The caps for the first round of Top14 are out on Paddy.

    Fri:
    Bayonne vs Toulon (-3)

    Sat:
    Clermont (-14) vs Grenoble
    Bordeaux (-10) vs Lyon
    Brive (-9) vs La Rochelle
    Castres (-9) vs Stade Francais
    Toulouse (-15) vs Oyonnax
    Montpellier (-8) vs Racing

Nothing stands out as a great bet there. Toulon perhaps but I'd wait for team news on that one as they might have only two senior backrows fit. Lobbe and Juan Smith are playing in the RC while Bruni, Steffon and Gorgodze all went off injured tonight. That leaves only Vosloo and Masoe who is just back from an ACL surgery.

I've put a small amount on Lyon to finish ahead of Grenoble on the table at 15/8.

I'm thinking of spreading my units for this year evenly between an account with three different bookies. Any recommendations for an online bookie other than PP?

One thing you should note this year about the Top14 is the list of 30 French squad players that are limited to 30 matches (both club AND international) in 2014/15. The June tests were counted already so that could mean a guaranteed national starter like Brice Dulin might only play 19 matches for his club: 3 June tests + 3 AIs + 5 Six Nations matches from 30 leaves 19. So be wary about top tryscorer bets or similar for frontline French players.

Bayonne look like a good bet to me. I'd have them as slim favourites to beat Toulon. On last year's end of season form it's a fair handicap but I doubt Toulon will be in that sort of form. Only got going very late on last season.

Bayonne have four players, including their key fullback Scott Spedding who is really too good for that team, going for scans on injuries on Monday so best wait for news on that.
