Last May Bank Holiday weekend when we couldn't gather outside with other households (or was it with just one other household, can't remember) the Leader of the country and the Minister for Justice tweeted support for a massive group march in Dublin City Centre. Nonsense on Saturday was a riot by bored morons. There is no comparison with BLM which was a peaceful protest by bored young people who did not go out with intention to fight anyone they meet.

EmmetSpiceland isn't wrong. Everything (including peaceful protests) have to be done within restrictions.

The fact that a particular march last year went ahead and breached the restrictions...and politicians foolishly expressed support for it...is a separate issue.

Ah Yeah its been going on for years tbf.

Trump has a lot to answer for, for making these idiots have voices all over the world.

I say, end the Internet everywhere for a year or two, re-work it, then relaunch it.
