Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello, This might be a silly question but do you have to close a house sale in person in the solicitor's office?

I am about to close a sale and my co owner will be in Donegal for a fortnight. I don't want to wait for the two weeks if possible until they get back. Can I bring the contacts up to Donegal and then return to the solicitor's office to sign myself?

I think you will have to have the co-owner signature witnessed by a solicitor... other than that I cant see any problem.

The contracts are not signed on closing as a general rule. The contracts are usually signed several weeks before the closing. If you already have contracts signed you can close and execute deeds afterwards. If you don't have contracts signed you can't have a closing scheduled.
