    Dull & cloudy for most of the afternoon though the sun did make a brief appearance earlier with 1.2hrs of sunshine recorded

    Temp 16.9C atm with a respectable late-summer high of 18.5C recorded at 14.25PM

    Couple of brief, light showers this morning giving a total of 1.0mm since midnight

    Not quite tropical today here but given the recent run of summers we've had I'll take it :)

    Probably some fohn effect warming going on there. Feels quite warm all afternoon in the Dublin city area however back at home, the max was only 20.9. Currently 19.4

    A land breeze always heats up east wicklow in summer.
    I'd agree with super cell,it felt tropical here today,like the south of France in September.
    Still 22.1c with the sun shining,and gosh beautiful. With the days work done,I've resorted to flip flops in the garden.
    This has been some prolonged summer in the east!
