I am part of local non for profit organisation South East Makerspace .
We are currently looking to rent some office/Workshop space in Waterford City or surrounding area
Price is a big factor and we are happy to take on a fixer.

    All suggestions welcome

Contact the city council, they would have empty units at reasonable costs.

    Thanks Max,

We have been in contact with the City Council to see what they have to offer.
Just keeping our options open to see what else is out there

Hot desking in a shared office space might work. Desks would be circa €150 -€200 per month including utilities. Not sure if anyone has them in the city.

Waterford City Enterprise Board runs a couple of hotdesk offices in the Enterprise Centre out the Cork Road http://www.waterfordceb.com/ will have the contact details.

Sadly a hot desk would not work as we are looking for the space so groups could collaborate on projects. These project could be 3d printers, computers or electronics.

    Thanks for the suggestions

I'd call the board anyway, there are units available in the Enterprise Centre and see if they have anything available, they will be able to direct you somewhere else if they dont have anything that suits your needs.

True thing. They have quite a few buildings that could be occupied.

Sonic Arts Waterford yesterday received the keys to our new festival office for SAW Fest in Sept. and city council were very easy to deal with.
