It'll do we'll over there. There's enough Irish in Australia to fight in supermacs at 2 am after the pubs close

Anyone any idea what has happened with this?

Was supposed to open somewhere late last year but I've never heard anything about it or even what site they chose

If there's more Irish now leaving Aus than arriving then I'd imagine it's probably been shelved.

    Is this actually true?

    Stat wise...

Feels like it in Perth, lots of going away parties happening.

Edit to add: I thought I'd be gone by now too but work has stretched out for another six months. I know lots in the same boat, plenty of jobs related to mining coming to an end as the mining expansion phase winds down.

+1, two years time there won't be many left in oz.

should do well in Oz all the same I think. When I lived in Oz, there was times when I felt a bit homesick for the old grub / would have gone in to a Supermacs there to remind me of friends and family and happy times at home. The chips are better than other fast food chips too. Its amazing when you are away for a year or two how you miss things about Ireland.

I noticed that starting when I was working in Oz last year too. I think things were getting a bit unsustainable. Things were a lot more expensive than when I first started working / living in Oz. Hope they have a soft landing.
