Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to get a solareg ii serviced?

I have a solareg ii controller which was installed around 5 years ago.
Of late the 'pump' and 'attention' indicators have been flashing which suggests a circulation error. Unfortunately the original installer is no longer in business.

How can I find a qualified person to service the solar hot water heating system?
    What should I look for?

Is there a list available of qualified engineers in Dublin?

Ask for recommendations here or request PM's.
Other than that the only list of installers would be listed on the SEAI website for a list of contractors that would meet their requirements, i.e. have PL insurance & are certified solar thermal installers.

    Dear Woppi,
The solar Reg 11 warning symbol flashes when the panels are in stagnation, and is a normal condition.
The panels may be in stagnation due to the pump not being able to circulate the fluid.

Is the solar pressure gone (normally the gauge on the very right of the pump station) or is the reading genuine?
the solar pump should run really quietly, otherwise there is air in the system.
Your system should be serviced min every 3 years.
