Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We could do with the win. Might head up if weather gets little better.

Win and we go 3rd from bottom, at the very least. Lose and we're in big trouble.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Biggest weekend for Cork and Drogheda probably. Bottom four playing each other, huge chance for some ground made up by the bottom sides

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,579 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Have Limerick and Bohs in my Friday night accum. UCD will struggle with the 2 suspended lads, and Cork will surely struggle to adapt to all their personnel losses of the last 48 hours.

Would probably take a draw in Bray on Friday if you offered it now. 2 draws would actually suit fine in the games at the bottom with us having Bohs, UCD and Drogheda all at home in the final series of games.

What type of crowds have Limerick been getting recently?

Pats win, Limerick win, Bohs draw and Shels win! Would be a lovely weekend!

It better not fugging rain on Sunday.

We're on a good roll at the moment, and momentum could see us winning on Sunday.

    Draw be decent though.

A lot riding on the Dundalk Shamrock Rovers game. A loss for either will more than likely put an end to any notions of winning the league.

Draw not much use to either which means we should get a decent game. Expecting over 2000 for this one as long as the rain stays away.

Apparently they've changed their minds and will be gracing us with their presence after all. Hard to resist a trip to lovely Dundalk in fairness.

    The very same for us.

I'd say Limerick are looking at this as a handy 3 points tbh.

I would settle for a draw in Bray, but why not taking all three points?

There's a lot of that going around.
Last week's linesman means it's gonna be a miracle if we get something out of this with two of our first choice defence missing (as well as Leahy who's been out all season).

    Croly's attitude is catching..

0-0 draw probably the ultimate target again in Oriel.

A draw maybe but i honestly can't see this match going 0-0.There will be goals.

You didn't watch MNS then, to see the absolutely blatant red card for the elbow, no? Prefer to rely on your own conspiracy theory, cool.

Wasn't the linesman who kicked out at Murtagh.
Anyway, I've today off work and typically the game gets moved meaning I've still to see a game between Bray and Shels since Shels came up.

I saw it and even though the camera angle was crap, I saw exactly what I saw on Friday, a heavy shoulder to the front of the Shels player. Never a red card. Being side on to the incident on Friday made it easier to see there was no elbow raised compared to being directly behind the incident that the Shels fans were.

I'll admit I was wrong about that red card. Stupid by Kavanagh to kick out like that. I find it strange though that the linesman failed to see the late studs up tackle by Murtagh which caught Kavanagh on the ankle which resulted in him kicking out.

What's the story with Mark Quigley and his lack of appearances this year? Has he started a game all season? Has he been injured or is it just a case of Croly not playing him? He was brilliant for both Dundalk and Sligo. Strange that he hasn't nailed down a starting position with Rovers.

He has been injured the majority of the season, started against Sligo last week, played the full 90mins aswell I think.

He is out injured tonight though

Started four games, been injured for most of the season with successive hamstring injuries.

His natural position is also taken up by Finn in the team.

    Why sign him so?

Had to spend that Europa money someway.

Might as well sign the leagues best player then play a vastly inferior player instead.

I think tonight's a must-win for Bohs. I've definitely never been this excited for a game against UCD.

I heard it was 60,000. Whatever it is, it's not Europa money..

Good news for Rovers fans. Blue skies in Dundalk. Was rotten earlier but it's cleared up nicely. Here's tonights teams:

Looking forward to a good game. Draw not much use to either team so should be good open fare. Hoping Dennehy is as bad as he has been the last couple of times I've seen him.
