Ideas please

Ive done nothing to my garden since I moved into my house 9 years ago. I have an area in my garden of 480x380 cms (12.5 x 15.5 foot I think) that I would like to deck or pave but the problem is the cash! Id have maximum €1,000.....its proving to be very difficult to deck the area for this amount. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm sure you would buy the materials to deck that size for about €400-€500 if you shopped around and then find a tradesman to do the job. We got our decking at €3.50 a 5" x 12 foot length, was on special offer though. Decking is great for the first year or two but then it becomes a nightmare to maintain.

I would go with paving, Roadstone have plenty of paved designs in their show gardens, you could get some ideas.

Take a trip to Kilsaran in Clonee,Tobermore out at Blakes Cross and also Roadstone in Feltrim.


Have a look at the gardens and designs in all the mentioned places.

You will get some good ideas and prices from all 3.:)
