window restrictors - without drilling

    hi,

our LO has been crawling around like mad, can stand and cruise along furniture so it's probably a matter of weeks, if not days, when he can pull himself up to the window ledge (very low and very wide), and will try to open the windows... we live on the 2nd floor so not ideal.

I have started looking at window restrictors but they all need to be screwed on the frame. Now we live in rented accommodation so cannot really just drill into the Landlady's windows. Has any of you found a no-drill, but safe solution? Our windows open to the outside, they are the double sort.
    many thnaks

ps: I have spoken to a window fitter guy, who already did some jobs for us, and he quoted €30/opening (so €180 for all our windows) for installing sth safe, with screws, but somehow in a way that can be removed without a trace so would be OK from rental point of view. Any cheaper solution would be of interest... :)
