R4 update problem?

    I was trying to update my R4 card that i had not been been playing for a long time and I wanted to play pokemon black 2. So I needed to update my R4 so I downloaded the update V.18 and I downloaded the software from r4ds.cn.

    Then when I tried to update it I forgotten to make a back up for it so I lost everything and now when I tried to use update with my R4 it says hardware is not compatible.

    I dont have my R4 box anymore so im not quite sure of details and what company it is but on my R4 it says revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS).

    Would anyone know how to solve my problem or at least find a software that will work for it? I have been looking around everywhere but there does not seem to be any luck....
