Need a good Poncho. Any suggestions?

Looking for a good Poncho that can withstand Irish late spring/summer/early autumn showers and downpours, will be used a bit for cycling, but mostly for hiking. I've had one or two in the past, some were excellent, some awful. Can anybody recommend a good one that I can get for decent money?

Does anybody have any experience with this Regatta one?

Army Bargains sell second hand ones , ex army obviously .Ivwas given a gift of one a while ago.

Bit rough looking but excellant quality doubles as a small tent and can joined on to another poncho to.make a larger tent.

The price ... 20 euros.

Get an ACU poncho for a few quid online.



It can also be used to make a pup tent or used as a ground sheet.

I just bought this one on line today but I want to use it as tarp so I be a bit heavier then one designed for purely rain gear. It has good reviews though
