So wally is becoming a mini Barry now, dressing the same acting the same. The name dropping of other shows was a bit stupid.

    Good episode

    Great seeing
    Harry
    back.

    Great seeing
    Wally
    is going elsewhere.

    Though did feel for
    Wally
    getting his heart broken,
    break up cube
    what a genius invention :pac:

    Cisco using
    You have failed this City
    at the start.

    And
    Becky/Hazard
, any one could relate to.

Also Neil Sandilands as The Thinker has been good so far...

    Also Barry's
    we're gonna need more diapers
line from the season opener tied into this week's episode..

    Decent episode.
    Wally leaving
is no bad thing. Plus Becky is damn cute! :p

Did Cecile get fed up with being the shortest cast member so wanted Becky hired?

Yeah, I didn't notice Wally missing either.

Glad to see Harry back. Wonder will we ever get to see Jesse's team.

I can't believe that Cisco held on to Samuroid's head and hasn't examined the tech in it.
And why didn't the reactor go the same way it did before?

Neither did I, which made me feel kinda bad when he said that nobody noticed he wasn't there.

I had it in the back of my mind only because I knew he was to be leaving so I had wondered did I miss the bit. The actress who plays Jesse is on another show so I say it could be difficult but I hope so

I was the opposite - I reacted more in a "Oh yea!" way, then realised that it just proved he isn't needed in the show.

I mean, if even the characters don't notice/need him around...

Because of the bad luck they had set it to do that. It's why Harry stopped doing anymore

I was thinking the same thing, then I remembered, the season's plot doesn't require it just yet, as far as the team know, they're just dealing with a dozen people who happened to be on a bus at the wrong time the exact moment Barry popped out of the Speedforce.

Well this should be an entertaining sub plot this week.
Gypsy's father shows up on Earth-1 and decides to hunt Cisco.

I have to admit I did a bit of a double take when they said the character was 24. The actress is 36.. Not sure why they felt the need to have her play a much younger character, I know it's a TV trope but still quite annoying.

Danny Trejo was a great casting choice!

Bit annoyed with Ralph Dibny's characterisation, more like Plastic Man than Elongated Man.

I hope he continues to be a recurring character for this season.

Decent episode and guest stars this week, although there was a bit too much Jim Carrey/The Mask in Dibny

I know this is out there a more then likely ridiculous but as we know there is meant to be a
    funeral
in the crossover and due to
Victor Garber leaving people were thing it was him
but what if and a spoiler from legends
there are able to separate Firestorm and Stein lives
    and
the person to die is Cecile as maybe she got hit by the Dark matter that is making all the new metas and the baby grows rapidly and leads to the new Reverse Flash Daniel West

Yes I know very stupid not expecting it myself
Stein to die and baby not born till send of season

Didnt like the gypsy father bits at all but really liked elongated man looking forward to more of him could be alot of fun.

That episode was great fun. I liked Dibney. :)

I only know Elongated Man from Identity Crisis on. But I'm sure doing an origin of a guy like this is hard to do in a serious way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,260 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Out of all the new metas, that is probably the least useful.

Bachelor and Bachelorette parties in tv shows just show how few friends characters actually have. Wonder if Wally was invited at least.

And why did they need Wells to get them out? Was Joe not able to use his detective status in his own precinct?

Awful episode nothing redeeming in it at all must be one of the worst episodes ever.

I've only watched the first three episodes, but the tonal shift is noticeable. The first was a bit iffy & a touch on the angsty side, but the light hearted, carefree approach seems to have returned (for now). I'd love to think the writers have re-captured that sparkle from the early days.

That was terrible though, what the hell do Iris and Felicity know about raiding a gang meet?

Seriously Iris needs to go at this stage, she is a fixed point for Barry in other media. His real life outside being a superhero but the show has her far too involved and she brings nothing to the table. Forcing Felicity into the dynamic weakens her also.
