q-sat coverage in clare

    hi,we're thinking bout switching from 3 to q-sat(niall quinns) broadband provider.anyone use q-sat or know of someone who does?what is the speed/service like in clare area?

    Can you see the sky?

    That's it really. If you can then you can get it. It doesn't really vary geographically.

    It should only be a last last resort if you can't get anything else. Usage limits are quite low, its never gonna be fast, and because of the latency, things like Skype, voip or online gaming are ruled out.

    Where in clare are you? Is there no DSL or fixed wireless option available to you?

    Their costs and terms are much better. Speed and coverage is the same for all VSAT services as they're all resellers, using a Eutelsat satellite at 9 degrees east. You'll need clear sight of that part of the sky.

    Go to www.dishpointer.com
    Enter your address and then pick 9E EUTELSAT 9A | EUTELSAT KA-SAT 9A to see the dish alignment.
