So the swim takes place this saturday starting at parkes castle and finishing at the back avenue at doorly park. There's a welcome home party for the swimmers at the back avenue which everyone is invited to, there will be music, vintage fire engine, scruffy duffy as MC, entertainment, food stalls and a great atmosphere.…

So the swim takes place this saturday starting at parkes castle and finishing at the back avenue at doorly park.

There's a welcome home party for the swimmers at the back avenue which everyone is invited to, there will be music, vintage fire engine, scruffy duffy as MC, entertainment, food stalls and a great atmosphere. All free of charge and part of the Sligo Summer Festival.

The swimmers will start to arrive from about 2pm. The swim is in aid of the hospice with almost €40,000 raised
