Best of luck to everyone. 5 years ago I didn't get the points I needed to do primary teaching. I went and did Arts in Maynooth and then spent a year in Wales doing a PGCE. Now I'm a qualified primary school teacher and I'm starting my first full-time job in 3 weeks time in England.

If you don't succeed the first time round, there is always another way.

I sat the LC last year, and repeated french and irish this year... but how can I confirm the CAO is using both my results from last year (points) and this year (entry requirements)?

It should say 2012, yes. I don't think you can edit it now, I would make a fast phone call to CAO or email to get it fixed fast, if possible..

Repeating here I come. I am surprisingly not too upset about my poor results. I know I will do far better next year. I WILL be a Doctor one day, I'm sure!

Just got my results, absolutely delighted! Last year I got 430, missed my course (B. Ed in Marino) by 35 points, this year I got 510! Best wishes for everyone else opening their envelope! Anybody else think they will be heading to Marino for the B. Ed? :)

I got the highest grade I ever got in maths when I was convinced I failed...
Did shocking in everything else haha I imagine I'll be back in school in two weeks...i wouldn't mind I'm just so gutted that I actually did good in maths :P

Got about 370. Not 100% sure about marking but the course is 315 max so I'm pleased.

Feels good man, and to top it off i really didn't do a whole lot during the year tbh.
