I got 525! Couldn't be happier tbh. The course I want is 470 so I'm well above what I needed. Such a relief to have it over and done with.

Ok now that I've had time (and by time I mean a can of bulmers) to process it all.

Got a fücking D1 in maths. Myself and my teacher both thought I was gonna fail! The principal and all were asking me to go back to pass! D FÜCKING 1!


and then it all went balls up :pac: was expecting As or high Bs in art, German and biology and got C2s. 430 overall was aiming for 490 :pac:
Unless some miracle happens in the second round offers I'll be repeating which tbh I'm okay with cause I knew I didn't do much this year I was kinda expecting it :P

Well after thinking I wouldn't even break 500 (which is bad for me and my expectations for medicine) I have completely surprised myself.. I still don't believe my result!
To anyone who is disappointed it's not the end of the world. What's another year to get what you want? There is always another option.

They will have a copy of the marking scheme at the rechecks, I can't remember when it comes out online.

So in the "review" thread I posted these predictions:

All Higher level.

English - Very confident that I have improved since the mocks which I got a B1 in however some dodgy essays mean I'm not as confident to improve to an A2. Would be happy with either grade.

Maths - I got a B3 in my mock and then a B1 in a 2nd mock that we sat in May. I was aiming to push it up to an A1 but with the paper, I did dreadfully. Hopeful for a B2.

Irish - I feel like I did an amazing oral and I worked very hard for it. Then the written exam came along and family matters meant that I wasn't 100% on the day. I really think I will get a C1.

Geography - Lovely paper. A2 in the mocks and I think I got my A1.

Biology - Got A1s all year and I think I have maintained it. Otherwise, A2.

Chemistry - Amazing paper. Did all questions. A1.

French - Dreadful oral, the examiner was so horrible! The tape and comprehensions were lovely. Made a few hiccups. Hopefully a B2.

LCVP (I'll count it) - Really hope I get a distinction as nobody in my school ever has but I feel I took it seriously enough to get one without hurting my other results.

My optimistic predictions would put me at around 575 (rough calculation in my head) points and I would be delighted with that.

And today I opened my envelope to:

Irish A2
English A1
Maths B2
Geography A1
Biology A2
Chemistry A2
French B1
LCVP Distinction

This gave me 575 and I'm thrilled!

I have never been so incredibly disappointed in myself ever. Ever. Needed 530, got 455. Came out of geography thinking I got a d3 got an a2 came out of biology thinking I got a c3! Gutted. Is anyone really disappointed with english?
